Back in 1989 Keith was looking for a new direction when someone introduced him to the life insurance industry. He had already served in the New Zealand Air Force and earned an engineering degree, and the sharp right turn led him to become an insurance adviser with Government Life. A few years on, in 1996, he helped NZ Home Loans get off the ground to being one of the largest non-bank lenders in NZ, with a focus on helping people understand money, repay home loans faster and create wealth.
Keith joined mySolutions in 2015, he leads the provision of legal, accounting, banking and insurance support services to mortgage brokers. Keith is also a Risk and KiwiSaver adviser, his approach to coaching and mentoring other fellow advisers in the group is to be holistic, and make sure clients are educated on everything that is available to make sure the journey as successful as possible.
Keith’s model of leadership is not solely transaction-focused but growth-based, guiding advisers on how to look after their clients long-term for mutual benefit.
